张宗武秘书长拜会巴林王国驻华大使

我会张宗武秘书长于10月27日在巴林王国驻华大使馆拜会了巴林驻华大使安瓦尔。艾勒阿卜杜拉(Anwar Al-Abdulla)博士,双方就两国在“一带一路”背景下的双边贸易合作交换了意见。
作为通往沙特阿拉伯、海湾国家和其他中东国家的交通枢纽，由33个岛屿组成的岛国巴林在“一带一路”事业中享有至关重要的地缘政治重要性。艾勒阿卜杜拉大使提到，巴林鼓励中国投资者开发巴林几乎尚未开垦的旅游事业、欢迎中国的商品通过巴林进入更广阔的中东市场。他还提出，即将于今年12月在巴林开幕的中国龙城标志着中巴两国商贸往来的新的里程碑，中国龙的精神也将随着龙城的开幕萦绕在巴林人民的生活中。他表示，中小企业占据中巴两国企业的绝大比例，因此共同致力发展中巴中小型企业间的贸易往来对两国的国民经济发展至关重要。
张秘书长对艾勒阿卜杜拉大使提出的发展中小企业的路线十分认同，并表示我会也将会大力支持将中国中小型企业带出国门，并促进中巴两国中小企业的进一步合作。同时，张秘书长也向爱勒阿卜杜拉大使介绍了过去十年的中非经贸发展以及我会在此间作出的工作成果。张秘书长表示，我会不仅愿在中巴经贸方面积极配合巴林使馆以及中国企业的需求，也愿意在文化交流方面为中巴友谊作出贡献。最后，张秘书长邀请艾勒阿卜杜拉大使到我会做客，进一步就中巴友好经贸往来交流意见。
SecretaryGeneral Zhang Zongwu of our institution visited Dr. Anwar AlAbdulla, Ambassador
of theBahrain Kingdomto China at the Bahraini Embassy. They exchanges opinions
regarding bilateraltrade under the background of One Belt, One Road initiative.
As a hub connected to Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and other Middle Eastern countries,
Bahrain as an islands country consisted of 33 islands enjoys a particularly geopolitical
importance in the One Belt, One Road initiative. Ambassador AlAbdulla encouraged Chinese
investors to initiate the tourism market of Bahrain and welcomed Chinese products to be
introduced to the Bahraini market. Moreover, he mentioned that the Dragon City to be
opened in two months is going to be a milestone of trade and commerce between of two
countries, and that the Chinese spirit of dragon will also be introduced to the Bahraini people.
He stated that small and mediumsized companies account for a majority of enterprises in
both Bahrain and China, therefore encouraging cooperation of the SMEs will mean much
to the economic development of both countries.
SecretaryGeneral Zhang agreed with Ambassador AlAbdulla’s opinion on SMEs and expressed
that our institution will work to promote Chinese SMEs to invest in foreign markets, and at the
same time, will promote the cooperation among SMEs bilaterally. Meanwhile, SecretaryGeneral
Zhang shared insights about the development of ChinaAfrica trade inthe past decade. Zhang
expressed that, our institution will not only work with the Bahraini Embassy and Chinese
enterprises to promote bilateral trade, but willalso work on cultural exchange between Bahrain
and China.
