Egypt’s Minister-Plenipotentiary of Commerce Mr. Ayman Aly Osman and delegates visited CACTPA

On December 9, 2013, at 2pm. Egypt’s Minister-Plenipotentiary of Commerce Mr. Ayman Aly Osman visited China-Africa Countries Trade Promotion Association (CACTPA) with the commercial attaches Mr. Muhammad Abdullah and held a talk with CACTPA’s President Zhang Yi. President Zhang expressed a warm welcome to the ambassador and introduced relevant information about the CACTPA. So far, CACTPA have 2280 member companies, involved industries are: petroleum, minerals, engineering machinery, energy, agriculture and further processing etc. Mr. Ayman Aly Osman extended his appreciation for the warm reception and expressed the willingness of the Egypt embassy economic and commercial counselor’s office to build a bridge for China-Egypt economic and trade exchanges.
 

President Zhang Yi pointed out that, the CACTPA has established a foundation named “China-Africa Friendly Economic and Trade Development” that aims to providing services for middle and small-sized enterprises from China and African countries. Mr. Ambassador showed a strong interest on the foundation and suggested President Zhang Yi to pay a visit to Egypt with delegates in 2014. Moreover, President Zhang Yi invited Mr. Ayman Aly Osman to attend the “China-Africa Friendly Night –New Year Return Banquet” which will be on January 1, 2014 by the CACTPA. Mr. Ambassador gladly accepted the invitation.
 

At last, Minister Osman wrote New Year greetings for the CACTPA and delivered his best wishes to China and the CACTPA.
