Liaison Department of our foundation visited South Sudan embassy
On the morning of November 8th, on the invitation of South Sudan embassy, Mr. Yu Shining, director of liaison department of our foundation visited H.E. Mr. Raphael Nhial Kulang, deputy director of South Sudan embassy to China. Both sides exchanged ideas in terms of cooperation on mining, energy, light industry, security industry and other fields.
As a member state of East African community, South Sudan is rich in oil and mineral resources. In recent years, its development potential on tourism, culture and education, infrastructure sector has been expanding. Mr. Raphael Nhial Kulang expressed that China is an important trading partner of South Sudan and he pays much attention to the friendly relations with China. At First, he analyzed the current situation of bilateral economic cooperation, he said many relevant experts in South Sudan have explored many mineral land with rich mining resources, which are waiting for Chinese enterprises with mining capacity to explore. Although some time ago, the domestic situation in South Sudan is not stable, but now the situation has been basically stabilized, the two sides can carry out normal economic and trade cooperation. On behalf of South Sudan embassy, he welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest in South Sudan in the fields infrastructure, oil, mining, etc. He added that South Sudan government should learn from China’s development experience and benefit its people.
Mr. Yu agreed with the introduction of Mr. Kulang. He expressed that, our foundation has been dedicated in promoting economic and trade exchanges between China and Africa. Under the background of “Ten Cooperation plans” proposed by General secretary Xi Jinping, our foundation will organize various kinds of business trips to South Susan to boost economic and trade exchanges between two countries by making good use of the platform and resource advantages. Mr. Kulang said he is willing to join hands with our foundation. The two sides reached a consensus on further cooperation. At last, Mr. Yu invited Mr. Raphael Nhial Kulang to attend the 5th “China-Africa Friendly Night” that is to be held at January 12th, 2017, Mr. Raphael Nhial Kulang accepted the invitation gladly. He said South Sudan embassy is willing to work with our foundation to establish a good partnership and achieve common development.
The talk ended in a friendly atmosphere. This meeting promoted the friendship between China and South Sudan Embassy, and lay a solid foundation for future friendly cooperation, so as to promote bilateral cooperation and achieve common development.
