Our President visits the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo

On the afternoon of March 17th, Mr. Zhang Yi, our President and Mr. Dominique Yu, Director of International Department visited the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo, at the invitation of D.R. Congo Ambassador. The Secretary-General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of D.R. Congo was also in attendance.
President Zhang Yi first thanked the Ambassador for his warm welcome and the active participation in various trade activities organized by our foundation. He mentioned that our foundation will go on to support bilateral economic and trade interactions and cooperation. Meanwhile, our foundation will organize business trips to D.R. Congo and encourage Chinese enterprises to invest. Our China-Africa Friendly International Trade Company has extensive business scope with rich experience in tendering, which will serve as a bridge for Chinese enterprises to promote bilateral trade development. Last but not least, President Zhang sincerely invited ambassador to visit our office in the near future and looked forward to more fruitful cooperation.
Ambassador first welcomed our visit, and spoke highly of the contributions we have made to boost bilateral trade and cooperation. He expressed his wish to further strengthen ties with our foundation, accelerate mutual friendship and achieve better collaboration. D.R. Congo has a strategic location, which is located in Central Africa, with 10 neighborhood countries. It has a favorable investment climate with rich resource, which opens arms to Chinese investors. He hoped to deepen cooperation with our foundation, and help promote outstanding enterprises and projects to realize bilateral practical cooperation. The Embassy is willing to provide us with updated business information and expects to seek suitable Chinese partnership through our platform. At the same time, ambassador recommended the Secretary-General of Foreign Ministry in D.R. Congo to President Zhang, in the hope that it will contribute to bilateral development in various fields.
The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere. It helps facilitate our traditional friendship with the Embassy of D.R. Congo, and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.
